Tazmine, or Taz is a “Legacy Photographer” who takes great pride in documenting the unique histories of the individuals and families she shoots. She specializes in newborn photography, where one of her favorite poses to shoot is newborns swaddled in love. In addition to newborn shoots, she progresses her clients through milestones and birthday shoots, as well as family portraits, creating a visual historical record for her clients.

Taz made her photography debut in high school as one of the school’s yearbook staff photographers, and after a brief hiatus in college, she picked her camera back up in 2019 after relocating from North Carolina to St. Louis, Missouri. She opened the doors of Lenore’s Lens LLC, her home-based photography studio, with the mission of capturing families’ most precious memories and memorializing them as treasured keepsakes.

Taz has a son and a daughter of her own, who contribute both to her fondness for photographing children as well as her affinity for being regarded as “The Baby Whisperer”. Taz says having children of her own put her more in tune with the needs of newborns and infants, while also allowing her to understand their needs and pick up on subtle cues that result in her being able to capture such striking, candid photos.
